About the role
We are seeking a permanent Night Despatcher to join the team at our Head Office in Nambour. This position will be responsible for a range of duties and will be part of a rotating night roster of 4 on 4 off night shifts.
This role will include accountability for a wide range of tasks including:
- Answer and respond to incoming calls, ensuring timely support to customers
- Resolve customer service queries in line with operational requirements
- Provide general administrative support
- Monitor communication within the Despatch office including phone, radio and email
- Coordination and scheduling including despatching driver operators, trucks and other response vehicles for emergency and non-emergency responses, transportation demands and equipment needs.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Solid computer skills
- A positive and proactive approach
- Ability to work as a team in a support role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Time management skills
