About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for you to utilise your trade knowledge and skills in a full-time position. An immediate start is available for an energetic and experienced, trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Workshop team. Your working week will provide you with opportunities to work on a range of light and heavy trucks, a variety of plant, equipment and machinery of the Clayton’s fleet.

About you:
· Trade qualified, with a strong background in road transport road fleet repairs
· A current HR/HC/MC Licence (or willing to obtain HR as a minimum)
· Forklift licence, desired but not essential
· Work safely and physically fit
· Strong communication skills
· A positive and proactive approach to your work
· Ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team
· Reliable with high levels of motivation and a can-do attitude
· Great time management and multi-tasking skills
· Ability to carry out repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles, trailers and equipment
· Basic welding and fabrication skills as required
· Experienced diagnostic of mechanical faults
· Aim for outcome of first-time fix, for unscheduled daily repairs
