Accounts Administrator - Sunshine Coast

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join the team at our Head Office in Nambour. This position is open to candidates with varying industries and system exposure. Those with NetSuite & transport industry experience would be highly regarded.

This role will include accountability for a wide range of tasks including:

  • Data and price verification, ensuring follow up is completed
  • Maintain customer records, including set up new accounts and update details  
  • Assist with a variety of accounting functions requirements including data entry, filing, archiving and responding to general enquiries from internal and external sources
  • Assist with monthly account reconciliations
  • Other duties as directed by Management, such as relief and assistance with accounts payable, workshop/warehouse administration, bank reconciliations and general accounting functions.

  • An understanding of basic accounting principles and previous accounts administration experience
  • High level of computer literacy, MS office – excellent ability with excel
  • Ability to time manage and prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to be a team player and also work autonomously to get the job done
  • Can do attitude, friendly nature, ability to take direction and follow processes and procedures 
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite accounting software an advantage but not a requirement
